An LDG Production
What was once considered a talent for a select few has evolved into an activity all children can benefit from. Research finds movement programs make a significant difference in learning readiness, self-esteem and cognitive skills.
Investing early in developing your child’s mental, physical and emotional controls, as well as associating learning equals “fun” instead of fear is important.
Eye tracking skills (important for reading readiness)
Hand-eye coordination (needed for writing skills)
Social skills (working with others, taking turns, following directions, etc)
- Ages 1 to 4
- 5-10 Ages
- 11-18 Ages
- Coordination, agility and progressive skill development activities (impulses fired down nerve pathways establish connections between mind and body making the path of the next impulse flow easier, called “learning”.
- Success can be defined as personal best. This doesn’t mean every child “will” win, but it does mean that every child “can” win.
- A personal best value system places control of outcomes in the hands of each child, not in what others do or say. This helps build positive self-esteem.
Fun With Drums is a drum program design to encourage an activity for children and their parents and/or caregivers to participate. With regards to the children this experience will help with motor skills and coordination along with building life long positive self-esteem. It engages parents and it’s fun and healthy. What children do is through their parents so why not have an activity where parents are involved and enjoy seeing these developmental aspects of their kids in their growth. This will help to enhance children sensory awareness and physical dexterity.
